The Scheibe Spatz A belongs to one of the first glider types that could be used by the flying groups for flying training from the end of April 1951. It was the single seat development of the Mü 13 E and Bergfalke.

Die L-39 führte ihren Erstflug 1968 mit der Prototypenbezeichnung X-02 durch. Ab 1972 wurde sie überwiegend als Standardtrainer für die meisten Luftwaffen des Warschauer Pakts gefertigt. Unser Modell der L-39 „Pipsqueak“ wird beim Reno National Air Race als weltweit schnellste L39 in der Jet-Klasse geflogen. 2009 qualifizierte sich die „Pipsqueak“ mit 525 mph.
