The special construction guarantees a voltage supply of the receiver also in case of failure of the mechanical switch and excludes voltage drops by vibration. Double receiver leads guarantee an increased insurance of operation.

The robbe 6 Volt Limiter generates a stabilised voltage of 5.7 Volts from a 5-cell NC / NiMH and 2 cells LIPO batteries. The maximum continuous load is 5 Amps, but the peak load is considerably higher. The advantage of the constant voltage supply is that the power and speed of the servos remains the same at all times, regardless of battery voltage. The Limiter also allows the use of servos which are designed and approved only for use with four NC / NiMH cells. Also suitable for generating a stabilised voltage from two Li-Poly cells (7.4 Volts). However, the higher dissipated power reduces the maximum continuous current to 1.2 Amps with this arrangement.

The robbe Frequency Checker provides a simple means of monitoring a particular frequency band, to establish which channels are in use by other model pilots The unit features an array of LEDs corresponding to individual channels. When switched on, the unit constantly scans the entire frequency band, and the LEDs flash in sequence to indicate this process.
